I'm Cody, the solo photographer, editor, and nature enthusiast behind this site. I spend my free time wandering through woods and forests, fields, and wetlands with a camera in hand, chasing light, feathers, and the occasional curious fox, while trying my best to avoid pesky ticks! This space is where I share the quiet beauty of the wild - one photo at a time.
All About Me
Since late 2019, I've found a deep passion for exploring parks, beaches, Mass Audubon sites, and wildlife management areas across New England. What began with a Nikon D5600 DSLR camera has since evolved into shooting with a Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera - but I've come to realize it's not the gear that matters most. It's about patience, respect, and letting nature unfold at its own pace to capture the right moment.
After hundreds of thousands of steps and tens of thousands of photos, I've refined my approach, making each outing more meaningful through the lens.
When I'm not wandering the woods and behind the lens, I work as a Security Engineer for a small consulting firm where I develop CAD drawings, perform physical security assessments, and provide other consulting services to clients around the world.
